SACRAMENTO STUDENT ADVOCACY TRIP
It's that time of year again. Irvine Council PTA is in the process of planning the yearly advocacy trip to Sacramento. Each year PTSA takes approximately 4 students from each Irvine high school to Sacramento to meet our legislatures.
The trip this year is still in the planning stages and will probably be in March. However, applications will be available in the front office beginning December 1st. Please contact our Advocacy Chair, Lisa McMains for additional information.
PTSA SCHOLARSHIPS OFFERED FOR SENIORS
California State PTSA offers graduating high school seniors, who are PTSA members, scholarships in the amount of $500 to acknowledge achievements for volunteer service in the school and community. The application is available from the PTSA President, Julie Taber. The deadline for receipt of the application is 02/01/2012.
