Dear Northwood High School Parents, Teachers and Students,
Welcome to our NHS PTSA website. I am proud to serve the students, parents and teachers at Northwood High. Northwood High school is a wonderful community and I urge you to be a part of it by joining our PTSA. Membership forms will be mailed in the summer mailing and can also be found on our website. Students, teachers as well as parents are urged to join. California State PTA offers scholarship opportunities to our senior student PTSA members.
Our Northwood High School PTSA has a tradition of inclusion and involvement. As a group we provide volunteer opportunities for Fall registration, working in the student store, Teacher Appreciation, Hospitality Committee, Grad Night and helping out when needed in the media center to name a few.
NHS PTSA has over the years supported the basic needs of our students for quality education.
Our main fundraiser is a one-time pledge drive, which supports the many PTSA sponsored programs at NHS.
Our monthly meetings are open to all PTSA members and I urge you to attend. Please see the calendar for these dates and times.
This is a wonderful way to meet other parents, hear the principal’s report and offer input and suggestions. Your involvement will make a difference.
